In issue #4 the designs of the hover planes that are chasing Amber are drawn from the female symbol she is wearing on her shirt. Also the astronomical symbol of planet Venus. I was inspired by the gun-shaped helicopter designs in Electra: Assassin, the painted comic by Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Issue two page 10, Troy is watching the smurfs on one of the monitor screens in the control room. Jokey smurf is about to give someone one of his gift bombs foreshadowing the "gift" Amber is about to give Troy.

In Bloodstream issue two, Amber is given subliminal messages from Dr. Evers. Check out the dialogue on page 8 during his therapy, the words he is imprinting on her subconscious are highlighted. If you read them as one sentence it's a code for her to escape the lab. Only one guy came to me at San Diego a few years ago and said he got it. I guess I hid it too well.
